This is similar to the Show Schema tool, but will show the Legacy-version Schema Map.

Overview

The Show Schema Map (Legacy) tool consist of UI Actions and Context Menus that open ServiceNow's legacy (pre-Calgary) schema map UI Pages in a new browser tab or window.


Key Benefits

  • Rapid Access: Launch schema maps without navigating to separate modules.

  • Contextual Convenience: Available via right-click menus on forms, lists, and related lists.


From a List View or Form view (Including Related Lists)

  1. Navigate to a list view of records (e.g., Incidents list).

  2. Right-click on a record or the list header to open the context menu.

  3. Select Show Schema Map (Legacy) (ASI) .

  4. The schema map for the table will open in a new tab, centered on the current table with relationships displayed.
