User Guide

The Email Scripts Related List Tool replaces the "Show Notification Scripts" UI Action on the Notification form in ServiceNow. It adds a Related List to display all Email Scripts referenced in the Notification’s Message or Message HTML fields, allowing admins to view them without leaving the form.


How to Set Up the Email Scripts Related List:


  1. Add the Related List to the Notification Form:

    • Open a Notification record.

    • Right-click the form header and select Configure > Related Lists.

    • In the "Available" box, find "Email Scripts," move it to the "Selected" box, and click Save.

    • Add the Related List to both the Default and Advanced views for consistency.


  2. View Referenced Email Scripts: Scroll to the "Email Scripts" Related List at the bottom of the form to see all Email Scripts referenced in the Message or Message HTML fields.

  3. Interact with Scripts: Click on any Email Script to view or edit its details without leaving the Notification form.
