Whitelist Application
The Altorra PowerShield Whitelist application brings powerful protection to our client's ServiceNow pre-production instances, providing control to prevent inadvertent outbound emails - Over and above what the basic ServiceNow functionality is capable of offering.
The PowerShield Whitelist utility gives you the option to whitelist based on group membership, or by specifying individual external email addresses.
With this capability, when testing in your sub-productions, you can remove any worry of having users being unintentionally spammed by your generated events. The PowerShield Whitelist also supports Gmail accounts (simply using usernames), and supports the Gmail Plus Addressing functionality, allowing you to test an unlimited number of email addresses while using a single Gmail inbox/account.

What do you get with PowerShield - WhiteList?
Spamming Protection
Gives you control to whitelist users and email addresses in your sub-production instances, preventing unintentional spamming of other users on the Platform.
Role-based Control
Easily control who gets notified in your sub-production instances using our whitelist group, allowing for more control of predicting who will be seeing your notification emails. In addition, you have the ability to manually add external email addresses.
Gmail Plus Addressing
The utility allows the use of Gmail emails by simply adding the usernames (without the @gmail.com), and also supports the Gmail Plus Addressing, allowing you to send to an unlimited number of email addresses, all going to a single Gmail inbox, giving you a powerful testing ability.
