The g_scratchpad is a global JavaScript object in ServiceNow used to pass data from server-side scripts (e.g., UI Policies, Business Rules, or Script Includes) to client-side scripts (e.g., Client Scripts or UI Pages). It acts as a temporary storage mechanism, populated on the server before a page loads, and is accessible on the client side without requiring additional AJAX calls.
The Show Contents of g_scratchpad (ASI) tool, included with the PowerClick Toolkit is a handy ability to quickly open and view what is in the g_scratchpad. It also gives you the ability to Copy the contents to your PC's clipboard.
Steps to Use
1. Navigate to a Record form
Look under Related Links section.
Click on Show Contents of g_scratchpad (ASI)

The contents of the g_scratchpad will appear in a pop-up window.

2. Copy contents to your PC's clipboard
When clicking on the Copy button, you copy the contents of the g_scratchpad to your PC's clipboard, making it easy to paste in the destination of choice.
